ithout ever having been to the Coney Island freak show, it's hard to create a basis for comparison, but damn was the Disgraceland Family Freakshow at East West on April 22 creepy! Chock full of good ol' fashioned self-mutilation, bug eating and walking on nail beds, just to mention a few stunts, this show is for the brave. The only part of the evening that wasn't impressive was the extra hour it took to set everything up, but Roc Roc It bending over to show off his tattoo of Evil Knievel jumping the "grand canyon" really made up for it.

Roc Roc It also deep throated two balloons, making himself an icon for all women and gay men there. Some other highlights include swinging a small paint can that is suspended from two dimes, one in each eye and some long string. JiJi the Carnie Girl, you are quite impressive! Bowling balls, beer bottles and large paint cans suspended from septum, nipple and lip rings, ouch! And the never-ending bug eating really was gross.

But one can't give it all away, so go see the damn show for yourself and don't forget to bring a stapler!
